About Webz4Biz

Having been let down by three successive web design companies who charged thousands of pounds only to fail to complete any of the work, Tracey Cleminson recognised a need for web designers who were affordable, reliable, met their deadlines and could speak in plain English rather than complicated technical terms.

With limited web design skills she wanted to set up such a company but found that there was a lack of good technical support and training available. Tracey felt that there must be other people in the same situation, and it was then that she had the idea of setting up a company where people who wanted to be web designers could access immediate technical support and training.

She approached Kent Media, a web design company who had been trading for ten years and were very successful in her local area, to ask if they would be interested in offering her training and helping to set up a franchise network.

Her company, Web Basics Limited, quickly became a success as word spread that she was offering the kind of service which small businesses could afford and rely upon. So successful was the venture that within the first year she took on a full time employee, attracted over 50 local businesses to use her services and set up dedicated web servers.

The two companies merged in September 2006, re-branding as Webz4Biz, and signed up their first franchisees in January 2007.

Webz4Biz Limited is registered in England, company number 5918309
